keep bonyo alive.
bonyo needs pull-ups to live. you log the pull-ups you actually do, and together the whole crew keeps him alive and thriving. one goal, one deadline, done as a team.
the challenge
one million pull-ups, logged by the crew, from 24 May 2026 to 20 July 2027 (Melbourne). that is the whole game: get the community counter to 1,000,000 before the clock runs out.
logging your pull-ups
on your log page you type in the reps you just did and hit log. that is the whole ritual. the day cards show your week at a glance, and if you forgot to log a day you can backfill it, up to seven days back. bonyo does not care how you split it up, only that the reps are real.
what counts as a pull-up
any pull-up counts as one rep. a harder variation does not earn more, and an easier one is not worth less. one rep is one rep.
- weighted
- assisted: a band, a machine, or a partner
- negatives
grip is yours to pick too. chin-up, neutral and wide all count the same. log the reps you did.
your plan & your goal
on your plan you pick your training days and a daily target, and set your own pull-up goal for the challenge. we do the maths so you can see whether your plan actually gets you there. your plan is what tells us which days are meant to count.
rest days & missed days
the days that are not in your plan are rest days, no guilt. but a planned day you skip is different: after a short grace period it turns into a bounty, a poster on the board asking the crew to cover the reps you owe.
the bounty board
posters go up on the bounty board when a crewmate skips a planned day. grab one to take on their reps: you have a 24h claim window and a limited number of grabs per day. leave one unclaimed too long and it stings your grab quota; claim it clean and it doesn't. it is how the crew catches each other before anyone falls behind.
the leaderboard
the ranks put everyone in order by pull-ups logged, and you can narrow it to just your crew or just this week. tied totals share a rank. friendly pressure, nothing more.
your crew (referrals)
every person you bring in through your share link branches under you as part of your crew. share the link or the QR code; the more of the crew pulling, the faster bonyo gets his million.
badges
you earn badges as you go: rep milestones, goal milestones, training streaks, and crew milestones, all shown on your account. there are a few secret ones waiting to be discovered too. no spoilers.
for bonyo
bonyo needs a million pull-ups to survive. that is the story and the whole point: it is not really about the number, it is about a crew showing up for each other every day until the number is done. every rep you log keeps him going.
